Coincidence?

Wed Dec 26, 2007, 9:22 AM
Some crazy things happening lately

Well, for the past 6 months. I'm not realy a superstitious girl but these things kinda freaked me out

Last year my cell-phone almost broke. People could call, I could hear them but they couldn't hear what I was saying. It was a hard period then and I wasn't able to afford another phone. But the problem got worse. So bad that I had to go to a phone booth to make my calls. That's how it happened that I found a phone lying on top of the fixed phone in the booth. Had some trouble trying to change the language from portugese to dutch but it worked fine...

This summer I was reading 'Wild Swans' a book about three generations of chinese women and a very close history of the cultural revolution. After reading it I was so in to the subject that I wanted to read more about it but couldn't find a good book. Just before going on a holiday we were driving over a crossroad and I saw a tram -if you don't know what that is look it up- driving over a book. I urged my boyfriend to stop the car and got the book. It was about an excursion of an american group to China during the cultural revolution!

Three weeks ago I was at the movies and we saw a commercial about christmas presents bought on ebay. In the end you can see a little girl falling asleep on a giant teddy bear. I told my friend how I always had wanted one. A few days later I drove home with a friend after doing some shopping. In the lane on the other side I saw something furry getting hit by cars. I screamed stop, he pulled over and I saved the animal. A nice and huge furry leopard...

I was telling all this to my sister in law and my mum was looking at me with great disbelieve. Those things aren't true!
Well, i know what I think about and I know what I find on the streets. You can call me naieve or silly but I do think it's a bit magical, mystical
